    1. A majority of Angelenos report losing jobs or wages

    1. Government support has been necessary – but not sufficient: 38% of Angelenos received no government support

    1. Economic security relies on good jobs and affordable housing

    1. Barriers to economic security loom large

    1. Union households were more likely to report wages as a financial stabilizer than non-union households

What is The People's Project

The People's Project powered by the LA Fed was launched in January 2022 as a new kind of mutual aid network. We bring solidarity to the community, teaching neighbors to help neighbors — just as workers help workers in the labor movement.
